Yaaru, Yarrinda, Yathakke, Yelli, Yaavaga – ‘Topi’ in life is the grass root essence in super star Upendra style in ‘Topiwala’ for RS Productions has completed major portion of shooting. Two more songs are left for completion.

Srini RJ turned director of a short film ‘Typical Kailawesome’ is showing his full power from this film ‘Topiwala’. For the story of Upendra director Srini has penned the dialogues. Upendra has done the screenplay. This film is about the current issues and it is better you watch it on screen says Srini.

At the Citadel Hotel on Monday evening Upendra, R Srinivas, Srini, Maithrie and Sri of Crazy Minds editor spoke on the making of the film.

Producer Kanakapura Srinivas is back with Upendra film after eight years has shot for the film in 50 days in Switzerland, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai and other places. It is Upendra who invited and told the story of this film. After ‘Omkara’ eight years ago RS Productions in this ‘Topiwala’ Kannada film with Upendra in the lead.

RS Srinivas wants to hold the audio release of the film in Kanakapura and release the film by month end of January 2013.

Actress Maithrie a fan of Upendra feels it is a fortune of life to act with him. There is a reference to ‘Topi’ of politicians in the film. Twists and turns are many in the film. Story inside the story is interesting. It is ‘Vidambanathmaka’ you could say. Who is going to get cheated and feel ‘Topi’ for him is interestingly narrated. Entertainment is main stress but there is some alertness to the society says Upendra.
